KND-004: Ecosystem Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to every member of AeThex, regardless of role, entity, or seniority. It defines the minimum standards of behavior that protect our culture, trust, and mission across all AeThex spaces: nexus.aethex.dev, dev-link.me, Discord, and our offices.

🔴 ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

We have zero tolerance for:

  • • Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
  • • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • • Doxxing (publishing private information)
  • • Illegal content or activities
  • • Sexual harassment or unwanted advances

Violators are banned immediately and reported to authorities if necessary.

The Four Core Rules

Rule #1: Professionalism

In CORP channels and with clients, professional conduct is mandatory.

  • • Treat clients with absolute respect
  • • Use professional language in work contexts
  • • Meet deadlines and honor commitments
  • • Represent AeThex positively in public

Rule #2: The Data Firewall

CRITICAL: Posting Private/Confidential CORP data in Public FOUNDATION channels is grounds for immediate termination.

  • • Never share client names, contracts, or code publicly
  • • Never leak financial data or internal metrics
  • • Never disclose employee salaries or personal info
  • • Honor all NDAs and confidentiality agreements

Rule #3: Respect Community Space

The Foundation community is inclusive, supportive, and neutral.

  • • Support community members with knowledge and mentorship
  • • Welcome all experience levels with patience
  • • Don't use community spaces for corporate promotion
  • • Contribute fairly to open-source projects

Rule #4: Transparency & Accountability

We value honesty and take responsibility for our mistakes.

  • • Admit mistakes early and often
  • • Don't hide problems—escalate them
  • • Be honest about capabilities and limitations
  • • Document decisions and reasoning

Enforcement

Minor Violation

Examples: Minor rudeness, unprofessional tone, accidental confidentiality slip

  • • First: Warning
  • • Second: 24-hour timeout/suspension

Major Violation

Examples: Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, legal violations, deliberate confidentiality breach

  • • Immediate: Ban from platform
  • • Immediate: Report to authorities if illegal
  • • If Employee: Termination

Note: All violations are documented and may affect future employment, references, or eligibility for programs. Appeals can be submitted to HR within 30 days.
